The OpenAIRE Research Graph: an Open Access resource for research on research
Oct 26, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
RISIS Tool Demonstration Events have the goal of presenting and practicing potentially useful tools for work with RISIS and related datasets, such as tools for name matching and geocoding. They have a strong practical character and must include practical activities for participants (guided).
RISIS embraces the International Open Access Week 2022 with a session on the OpenAIRE Research Graph: an Open Access dataset with metadata about research products (literature, datasets, software, etc.) linked to other entities of the research ecosystem like organisations, project grants, data sources, and services.
Special attention will be given to the latest enhancements of the graph and the potential new applications they entail: the introduction of entities for the services of the European Open Science Cloud, the integration with curated registries like OrgReg for organisations and FairSharing.org for data sources, the new document classification algorithms for Fields of Science and Sustainable Development Goals, the integration of usage data and impact indicators. The session will include a presentation of the graph and a guided practical session where participants can learn how to use the graph for research and policy-related activities.
